The Ridna Shkola Initiative

The Ridna Shkola Initiative is a Saturday school that was established 80 years ago with over 140 students ranging from kindergarten to grade 11. Traditionally offering lessons on Saturdays, however, the initiative updated its curriculum and now offers a wide variety of courses, ranging from Ukrainian language and literature to courses in Ukrainian history, geography, religion and culture. The initiative further encourages the students to join the choir and learn to play the bandura.
